“Na den Maaltijd” by Carel Lodewijk Dake is one of 12 limited etchings, that were published in a portfolio by a group of joined artists under the name of “De Distel”, (the Thistle)

Other artists with work in this portfolio where: Geo Poggenbeek, Wilm Steelink, Ferdinand Gustaaf Oldewelt, Jan van Essen, Nicolaas van der Waay, Jan Hillebrand Wijsmuller and Ernst Sigismund Witkamp Jr. It was published in Amsterdam under editorial of Tj. van Holkema en Warendorf, [1886-1888] This antique etching is part of the collection of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
