Description

This is a very nicely painted, impressive and big oil painting of an Indonesian street Vendor. The artist used Indonesian paint, which has a very different look then regular western oil paint. (it has a matte effect and the colors are tempered and natural) The painting is signed in the lower right corner with “Marquest Blanche” the white marquis, and the year, 1963. I did not find much info on the artist, this could very well be an alias of the painter.

This painting was painted on hardboard. It comes with a robust wooden frame, (made from tropical wood)
The artwork is big, therefor it has the potential to become be a very present eyecatcher and centerpiece in a room. It would be a great art piece for a kitchen, dining room or restaurant!
